> TrainTracking.pk is Pakistan's leading independent real-time railway tracking platform. Live GPS positions, delay status, ETAs, schedules and route information for all Pakistan Railways passenger trains — free, no account required, bilingual English/Urdu.

TrainTracking.pk lets anyone track Pakistan Railways trains in real time using live GPS data: the exact current position of any train on an interactive map, live speed in km/h, delay in minutes, estimated arrival times for every upcoming station, and the complete route timeline from origin to destination. The platform is mobile-optimized (works on 2G/3G), supports English and Urdu, and requires no app download or registration.

Pakistan Railways operates one of Asia's largest networks: 7,791 km of track, 472+ stations across all four provinces, 250+ daily passenger services and roughly 65 million passengers per year. Trains use a directional numbering convention: UP trains (odd numbers, e.g. Tezgam 7UP) travel away from Karachi toward inland terminals, while DN/DOWN trains (even numbers, e.g. Tezgam 8DN) travel back toward Karachi.

Technically, GPS transponders on locomotives transmit position data every ~30 seconds. TrainTracking.pk fetches this via a server-side proxy, compares the actual GPS position against the scheduled timetable position to compute the live delay, and recalculates station ETAs after every update. If no GPS data arrives for 10+ minutes, the train is marked as signal-lost.
