History of Pakistan Railways

Pakistan Railways traces its origins to 1855 when the Scinde Railway opened the first railway line in South Asia between Karachi and Kotri. Today, the network spans over 7,791 kilometers with more than 700 railway stations connecting cities and towns across all four provinces.

Station Categories
